Community Appeals Service Our Community Appeals Service offers clients support in the appeals process if their benefit application has been rejected. Matthew, our Legal Advocate, can help with: Preparing and submitting mandatory reconsideration requests and appeal notices. Gathering evidence to support your appeal such as medical records. He will speak on your behalf at the Tribunal hearing but clients still have to give evidence in their own case. If the appeal is unsuccessful, Matthew will help clients appeal to the Upper Tribunal. This service currently has a 90% success rate. For full details of the Service, download the Community Appeals Service leaflet here. Matt's role as Legal Advocate at the London Irish Centre is externally funded by a Trust for London grant.
