We provide specialist accredited advice and assistance on a wide range of welfare issues. We can offer support to people at crisis point with items such as food and clothing, as well as longer term casework such as advocacy with housing and benefits.

We also offer outreach services to Irish people over the age of 55, who have reduced mobility and are unable to attend the centre in person. An outreach worker can come to your home an assess your needs and link you in with appropriate services.

We can provide support in the following areas:

  • Applying for National Insurance Number
  • Opening a bank account
  • Housing & benefit advice
  • Returning to Ireland
  • Moving to London
  • Obtaining Irish birth cert and passports
  • Accessing health and care services
  • Irish & UK pension advice
  • Linking with social opportunities and befriending
  • End of life planning

“It’s nice to know that there is someone looking out for me. If I can’t make it in I get a phone call to make sure I’m alright, and that’s reassuring. When I was in hospital they visited me and cheered me up.”  Patrick, Outreach Client
