The London Irish Centre has a jam-packed week of events to celebrate St. Patrick's in London. 

We kick off with an Irish Breakfast and Film Club earlier in the week before heading into a full weekend of back-to-back celebrations headlined by music legends Kila!

Mon 11th - Irish Breakfast

Kick off St. Patrick's week celebrations with a full Irish at the London Irish Centre's famous Kennedy Hall sponsored by Clonakilty Black Pudding.

Tues 12th - London Irish Film Club The Camino Voyage

The London Irish Film Club series returns for our Spring/Summer season and will run fortnightly every Tuesday.

This screening is presented with the support of IFI International and Arts Council Ireland.

Wed 13th - Murder at The Merrion Hotel - A Murder Mystery Experience

Join The London Irish Centre and Moonstone London for an evening of Murder Mystery, filled with plot-twists, suspicious suspects and plenty of red herrings along the way!

Tonight, you are the detectives and it’s your job to crack the case before it’s too late. Can you #CatchTheKiller?

Thurs 14th - Meitheal Cheoil St Patrick's Family Céilí

Come along to our family céilí for all, with dances called by resident teacher, Geoff Holland. There will also be a display by the London Irish Centre’s resident Barrett Semple-Morris School of Irish Dancing.

Thurs 14th - Sun 17th - The Guinness Girl

Following the success of the sell-out show "One Last Look" in August 2018. Award-winning playwright Maria McAteer is delighted to return to The Irish Centre to premiere her new play "The Guinness Girl."

This moving, humorous and provocative play follows the story of a young black girl growing up in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1974 with an Irish mother at time when prejudices were at a peak towards the Irish.

Fri 15th - St. Patrick's Tea Dance

Join us for a wonderful 2 course meal including Irish favourite, Bacon & Cabbage. Followed by music from LIC crowd favourite Mustang, to get us into the party spirit!

An afternoon full of food, song, dance and raffle to top it off. There's no better place to celebrate St Patrick's in London!

Fri 15th - Lisa Canny & Band, with support from Megan O'Neill

Kick off St Patrick’s weekend with the best in modern Irish folk music from Lisa Canny and band, with support from Megan O’Neill.

Following a storming first headliner gig here in December, Lisa Canny returns with her full band to take London by storm with her unique and extraordinary fusion of Irish folk and hip-hop.

Fri 15th - Sun 17th - The Frank Carson Story

Returning to London after a triumphant 5* run at this year's Edinburgh Festival, 'If I Didn't Laugh I'd Cry' tells the story of the life of the late Frank Carson, the much loved Northern Irish comedian. This moving and powerful one-man show is written and performed by Irish actor-comedian Mike McCabe, who is a stand-up himself.

Sat 16th - Rugby Lunch

Join us at the London Irish Centre to watch the Ireland vs Wales match in comfort and style with entertaining stories from ex Ireland Captain Fergus Slattery

Hear Fergus Slattery regail us with the best behind the scenes stories from his time as Ireland's Rugby Captain, and answer your questions (meet and greet opportunities available)

Tickets include a pint of Guinness on arrival, bacon & cabbage lunch

After the match, enjoy a traditional Irish jam session in our main bar area as celebrations start in style

Sat 16th - Irish Language Taster for Absolute Beginners

Have you heard of the Irish language? Are you interested in learning more about it and maybe try out a few phrases in a fun, relaxed environment?

Our in-house teacher, Clár Ní Shuilleabhan hosts this light, interactive and educational workshop. You'll come away knowing more about the language and maybe even with a few phrases to impress your friends.

Sat 16th - Refresh Your Irish Workshop

Did you learn Irish in school in Ireland or at a course here in London? Is your Irish rusty - would you like to shake the cobwebs off and get it moving again?

Our in-house teacher, Clár Ní Shuilleabhan will help you to revisit and reconnect with the Irish language that is dormant inside of you. No pressure, no fluency expected. This will be fun, social and informative.

Sat 16th - Music Trail at Camden Market

The London Irish Centre has partnered with Music From Ireland and The Mayor of London to bring you an all acoustic music trail of six acts in small intimate locations within Camden Market, finishing with a headline gig in Dr. Martens Boot Room.

The featured acts will include a number of Irish acts such as Sick Love, Aislinn Logan and Locks.

Kicking off from 1:30pm this trail will be open to all ages with lots of opportunities to sample food from the traders at Camden Market who will be serving super specials for the St Patrick’s Day weekend.

Mar 16th - KILA Concert

We're delighted to have Irish folk and world music legends KILA back at the the London Irish Centre for a very special London show this St Patrick's weekend!

Join us in the famous Kennedy Hall for a traditional Irish Stew to fill the bellies before our St. Patrick's Day celebrations!

We will also have a session in the Kennedy Hall with drinks & live entertainment!

St Patrick's Family Fun - featuring Kíla SOLD OUT!

We kick off our family fun day with Children's entertainment, face painting, games, lucky bingo, bubbles, treasure hunt and much more!

Following that, KILA will take to the stage for our KILA family show!

St Patrick's BIG Gig

Our BIG St Patrick's Gig will welcome back Irish folk and world music legends Kíla for a second night to headline a full night of Irish music at the iconic London Irish Centre.

Due to the sell-out popularity of their St Patrick's show last year, we are making St Patrick's night bigger than ever, with our biggest ever line up on Kila, The Phoenix Collective as well as other very special guests on the night.
