The London Irish Centre charity is the heart of the Irish community in London.

The charity provides care, culture and community to the Irish across London, working from the iconic London Irish Centre in Camden Town.

Established in 1954 to cater for the needs of young Irish emigrants, the Centre has always been a place of welcome and assistance – a home from home.

The charity runs a diverse mix of high-quality services, projects and events to support the changing needs and interests of the Irish in London.

Charity Patron - Dermot O'Leary

It’s a big honour for me to become a patron of the LIC Charity. I’m very proud of my Irish heritage, my parents were part of the post war generation of immigrants who came to London to find a new life, so the London Irish community is one that is very close to my heart. I’m looking forward to helping LIC Charity both promote Irish culture and to help them with their equally important role of helping the vulnerable in the local community.
