The London Irish Centre (LIC) is delighted to announce a very special summer fundraiser on July 19th to raise funds for the LIC’s work in bringing Irish care, culture and community to London.

LIC Ambassador and celeb TV & radio presenter Laura Whitmore will host a brilliant night of Irish craic, culture and celebration.

As well as a live céilí band, world-class musicians and dancers, party DJs and general good vibes, you will get the opportunity to sample the legendary chicken fillet roll, and other unique Irish culinary gems! Truly a ‘Taste of Home’ for the Irish abroad.

Whether you're a complete beginner, seasoned dancer or curious onlooker, our brilliant band and callers will teach you céilí steps so you can get stuck in and set yourself up for a great night of authentic Irish craic.

You’ll also be entertained by the cream of Irish traditional dancers and musicians direct from the magical West of Ireland.

All profits from this fundraiser will go directly to the LIC’s work in providing outstanding Irish care, culture and community to London.

Join us the Irish Heart of London – everybody is welcome, come on in!

More on our céilí band:

Louise O Connor is a fiddle player and céilí dance instructor from County Clare, on a mission to make the céilí cool again. She has set up Celtic Dance Party to bring back the house dances, brush dances, céilí street parties, dancing at the crossroads. She wants to see it all happening again. ‘There is always time for a simple Irish jig’, is a motto that she lives by.

Along with her supremely talented band of traditional musicians, she has a Summer residency in the Cobblestone Pub, Dublin on Monday nights. When back in the motherland, get yourselves there for the absolute craic.
