Jarlath Regan’s world beating podcast phenomenon, An Irishman Abroad, celebrates 300 episodes with a night of chat, music, comedy and craic on Southbank in aid of the London Irish Centre Charity on June 15th.
Expect a host of previous guests and surprises in this one off show to mark the milestone for the most beloved podcast among the Irish abroad.
Across the series Jarlath has interviewed some of the biggest names in Irish sports, entertainment and politics including Sir Bob Geldof, Sharon Horgan, Gabriel Byrne, Brian O’Driscoll, Lisa Hannigan, Chris O’Dowd, Sonia O’Sullivan and Ronnie Delany.
In the 5 years since its creation, Irishman Abroad has also focussed on raising awareness of issues including organ donation, mental health, the homelessness crisis, historical miscarriages of justice and the work of the London Irish Centre Charity.
