Drug & Alcohol

The London Irish Centre Drug & Alcohol Recovery Project is a new service for individuals suffering from alcohol and drug addiction.

The service is for Camden residents and Irish people across London. We aim to provide a comfortable and supportive environment where individuals can relax and build friendships. The service aims to make a meaningful positive impact in the areas of alcohol and drug use, physical and mental health, use of time, family and relationships and money/budgeting. All clients will be assessed in these areas and assigned a Key worker to support them through any issues they be might facing.

We can also assist clients with other areas by signposting them to services within the London Irish Centre, including advice on housing, benefits, debt, assessing health, employability services, counselling and mental health services.

The service is open every Wednesday (6-9.30 pm) and Sunday evenings (5-8pm) at the Daycentre in the London Irish Centre.

We are interesting in setting up suitable referral links between London Irish Centre and relevant agencies in Camden and central London. Please contact me if you have questions and I would be happy to speak to you further or arrange a meeting for you to come to see our service.
