The London Irish Centre provides advice, information and guidance on Debt.
The service aims to help our clients reduce or write off their debt. We do this by providing realistic advice and solutions to deal with your lenders’ demands.
The Centre will provide information on all forms of Debt. However we can only provide advice (with casework) on priority debts.
Priority debts include:
• mortgage repayments and loans secured on your home
• rent
• fuel debts
• child support and maintenance payments
• council tax
• TV licence payments
• certain payments ordered by the courts.

Monday 9.30am – 12.30pm/2.00pm – 4.00pm
Tuesday 9.30am – 12.30pm/2.00pm – 4.00pm
Wednesday 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Thursday 9.30am – 12.30pm/2.00pm – 4.00pm
Friday 9.30am – 12.30pm
For advice on non-priority debts the Centre will help you find a more appropriate provider.
Non-priority debts include:
• credit card debts
• hire purchase agreements (HP)
• unsecured bank loans – loans that are not secured against your property
• water bills
• Loans from friends and family.
If you are experiencing multiple debts, we also deliver a session on a Wednesday evening with appointments at 6pm and 7pm.
