In addition to advice services at our main premises in Camden Square, the London Irish Centre also offers outreach services across London.
Outreach services are for Irish people over the age of 55, who have reduced mobility and are unable to attend the Centre in person. A qualified advice worker can come to your home and assist with issues such as housing, health and benefit entitlements, as well as looking at access to social opportunities and befriending.
We can help with:
| Benefits advice, including Irish pensions
| Housing advice
| Returning to Ireland
| Obtaining Irish birth cert and passports
| Accessing health and care services
| Funeral planning
| Referring and signposting to further services
“It’s nice to know that there is someone looking out for me. If I can’t make it in I get a phone call to make sure I’m alright, and that’s reassuring. When I was in hospital they visited me and cheered me up.” Outreach client
With dedicated outreach workers in North, West and South-West London, our outreach services covers a wide scope of the city, and in 2013 helped over 600 people who otherwise may not have received the help they needed.
Please get in touch if you think we can help or if you need further information.
