We're delighted to annouce our our 2016 spring season. It's our biggest yet.

Spring is under way at the London Irish Centre with a season jam packed with concerts, theatre and classes for you to get involved. 


Our season is full of the very best in new Irish theatre, starting with My Name is Saoirsethe story of a teenage girl growing up in rural, 1980's Ireland. Award winning, West-end actress Sharon Sexton brings her new show 'A Fit Wife for a Revolutionary' Easter week 1916 through the eyes of Kathleen Clarke to us for a week. And, the fantastic Brendan Begley and Mike Hanrahan's latest production Dublin's Burning will be with us on the centenary weekend of the Easter Rising in song, music and poetry. 

We are incredibly honoured to be welcoming Ireland's national theatre, the Abbey Theatre, to the London Irish Centre for their latest commission Of This Brave Time by Jimmy Murphy.

Following in the steps of some of Ireland's greatest music talents,  Jack L  will be performing at our historic Camden home with an exclusive solo show, the legendary Brendan Shine will be in concert performing his biggest hits, and the wonderful tenor, Philip Scott, will be telling The Life and Songs of John McCormack  through music and good humour. 

Our ever-popular Irish Language 8 week Courses are back for another term with three different classes to choose from, Absolute BeginnersBeyond Beginners and Speakers and Learners, we have something for everyone. Our educational talks start with the Double Bill Book Launch: '1916' & 'Hesitant Comrades'  in partnership with Pluto Press and we welcome Dr Padraig Kirwan to retell the incredible story of The Choctaw Indians and the Irish people.

And lets not forget, one of the most important dates in our calendar, St Patrick's Day at the LIC, the best place to celebrate in London. From our St Patrick's Tea Dance in the day through to Night Time Dancin' with live band Mustang. Our St Patrick's Afternoon Concert and Session with the wonderful Na Leanai, who will get things started in the Hub with live music from special guests on till late. Fancy getting your friends together, throwing on your jersey with craic till late? Then come to our St Patrick's BIG Irish Pub QuizDon't miss it!

And if that's not enough, we'll be launching our new London Irish Library, a collection of Irish literature and writings, which will be available to book.
As well as Bernard Canavan's latest exhibit 'Remembering Old Ireland'.
