The London Irish Centre has for many years been a welcoming home for dancing enthusiasts in London. Our specialised sprung wooden floors are very popular with everyone from beginners to seasoned pros.
The Irish Centre’s tradition of top quality dance events continues with:
- Two Irish dance schools, catering for all ages and abilities.
- Festivals of Irish Music and Dance – including the prestigious Return To Camden Town Festival www.returntocamden.org.
- Weekly set-dancing sessions and regular classes.
- Weekly céilí dances and classes
- Popular fortnightly tea-dances for the over 50s.
- Regular club nights of all kinds – jive, ballroom and more…

The Matt Cunningham Band has long been a favourite of Set Dancers everywhere. Matt who hails from Co. Galway plays great music for the Sets and his visit to the London Irish Centre is eagerly awaited. Through an acclaimed series of twenty one recordings and a constant touring schedule Matt’s great music is known to dancers and lovers of traditional music everywhere.
