At the London Irish Centre, we’ve been bringing good people and good causes together for 54 years. Our strong team of volunteers continues to provide an invaluable service to our diverse and changing community, especially in the support of our Older Persons’ Outreach Project.

Our Volunteer Project is one of the largest in the Irish sector and the demand for service is very high – assistance is always needed.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

- Learn new skills
- Meet new people and get involved in Volunteer Social outings

- Gain new experiences

- Help people in your community
- Become part of a team
- Gain training
- Feel good for doing good

YOU CAN HELP BY:

- Befriending – weekly meetings with isolated members of the Irish community
- Escorting
- Helping out in our Day Centre (Mon / Wed / Fri)

- Liaison
- Joining the Small Repair Scheme

- Helping out at Social and Cultural events – exhibitions / gigs / festivals
- Joining our Culture Department’s online PR team – social networking / admin support

NO FORMAL SKILLS ARE NECESSARY

However, we do need people who are:
